How many sessions will I need?
Most students book 4 to 6 sessions. Some need fewer, some stay longer. It depends on where you are and how quickly your reasoning shifts. We figure that out together in the free consultation.
Do you work with my state's bar exam?
Nationwide. Esq. Maps covers the UBE (Uniform Bar Exam), the NextGen bar exam, and state-specific formats. Coaching is tailored to your actual scores from practice exams and test prep, so we work with what you bring, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Whatever state, whatever format, we meet you where you are.
What if I have failed the bar multiple times?
That is exactly who this is for. Retakers do not need more outlines. They need someone to diagnose the specific reasoning errors they keep making and rebuild from there. Different attempt, completely different approach.
What does a session look like?
Sessions are live, 1:1, and over video. The first session is diagnostic. After that, each session includes a 15-minute timed essay under real exam conditions (complimentary), followed by a 30-minute paid debrief where we break down exactly what held and what collapsed.
I am an ESL student. Will this work for me?
Emmanuelle was raised abroad and studied the law in her second language. She understands the gap between knowing the material and expressing it under pressure in English. Sessions focus on building legal vocabulary, writing precisely, and turning language from a barrier into a tool.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. 15 minutes, no obligation. We talk through where you are, what has not been working, and whether Esq. Maps is the right fit. You will hear back within 24 hours of booking.
Founder, Coach & Tutor · Fordham Law J.D. · Barnard College, Columbia University
Born in New York and trained at Fordham Law, Emma built Esq. Maps to help students pass the bar when the odds feel stacked against them. Visual frameworks, socratic questioning, and the kind of energy that makes students believe they will see "pass" next to their name. Because they will. 500+ hours in, the results keep proving it.
